Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Pixie Baby Tracker handles information for parents, caregivers, children, households, support, and app operations.
1. Information we collect
Pixie collects information you provide or generate while using the app, including account identifiers, household membership, child profile details, baby care logs, routines, photos you choose to upload, notes, reminders, reports, subscription state, support requests, and app settings.
Baby care logs may include sleep, feeding, diaper, growth, temperature, medicine, activity, health, timing, unit, timezone, and caregiver-entered note information.
2. Voice, assistant, and AI data
If you use voice logging or Pixie Assistant, typed prompts, audio, transcripts, parsed events, child context, recent logs, and related app state may be processed to transcribe speech, create suggested logs, answer questions, and provide guidance.
Pixie Assistant is designed for parenting support and product functionality. AI can make mistakes and cannot give medical advice. It should not be used for emergencies, diagnosis, treatment, or medical decisions.
3. How we use information
- Provide baby tracking, household sharing, syncing, reports, reminders, and app settings.
- Generate context-aware guidance, summaries, assistant responses, and suggested logs.
- Manage authentication, subscriptions, entitlements, account lifecycle, and support requests.
- Monitor reliability, security, abuse prevention, product analytics, and service performance.
- Comply with legal, safety, audit, and operational obligations.
4. Household sharing
When you join or invite a household, users with access to that household may see child profile data, logs, reports, routines, and other household information according to their role.
Household owners should invite only trusted caregivers and remove access when sharing is no longer appropriate.
5. Service providers
Pixie may use service providers for hosting, storage, authentication, analytics, crash or reliability monitoring, customer support, billing and entitlement management, speech transcription, and AI processing.
Examples may include Firebase or Google Cloud services, RevenueCat, Apple App Store, Google Play, analytics providers, support tools, speech-to-text providers, and AI model providers configured for the service.
6. Billing data
Mobile subscription purchases are processed by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and related billing providers. Pixie receives subscription and entitlement information needed to provide paid features, but payment card details are handled by the applicable store or payment provider.
7. Analytics and diagnostics
Pixie may collect app events, device or browser information, approximate timing, performance signals, error details, and feature usage data to understand reliability and improve the product.
Analytics are used to operate and improve Pixie. Pixie does not sell child care logs.
8. Retention and deletion
We keep information while needed to provide the service, maintain household records, comply with legal or operational requirements, resolve disputes, and protect safety or security.
You can request account deletion from the mobile app account settings where available, or by contacting support. Some information may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, security records, billing records, or legally required retention systems.
Deleting your Pixie account removes access to the app account and household access, but it does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Store subscriptions must be cancelled separately in the applicable store settings.
9. Children
Pixie is intended for use by parents and caregivers, not by children directly. Parents and caregivers decide what child information to enter and who can access household records.
10. Security
Pixie uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect account and household information. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so use strong credentials and invite only trusted caregivers.
